I photograph the South the way I see it — one backroad, old building, bridge, cemetery, town square, and forgotten place at a time.

Some places are still busy with life. Others have been left behind. Either way, they have a story.

My work is about slowing down long enough to notice those stories. The weathered wood. The rust on an old bridge. The light falling across an empty street. The people and families who give these places their meaning.

From historic landmarks and forgotten places to landscapes, portraits, family moments, and everyday scenes, Deep South Images is about preserving pieces of the South before they disappear or simply become forgotten.

Every photograph is an attempt to hold onto a moment that won't come back.
